Yesterday was a good day, well apart from the whole being ill thing. Lots of good things happened. First of all I won NaNoWriMo 2009 and I typed The End with just over 51,000 words. This means I now have a second first draft manuscript. It's in a hell of a state, just as bad as last years. In order to fix it I signed up for a course on 'How to Revise Your Novel'. I'm hoping to get last years in a shareable state first then I'll move on to this years, I'm a little close to it now.
Then I got an approval for a wishlister fanlisting. Then I got an email saying the deadline for part of one of my assigments had been pushed back till after Christmas. I could have had it in for the original deadline but I'm grateful for the extra time as I'll be able to make it even better.
Today seems to be following the same positive trend. I was told that I have a potential job, getting emailed with more details later. Yup I'm feeling very positive, like I could do anything. Hopefully I'll be riding this high of success for a while.
As promised there is now a video gallery. I decided that the best way to do it was just to create a page and embed a YouTube video. I only have one video that I'm ready to share so for now that solution will suffice. Perhaps later if I have more videos I'll look into a more complex solution.
I've also removed the articles section and replaced it with a portfolio. That is by no means a definitive list of websites I've created. However, it is the list of the ones I've done for clients as well as the best of my personal projects.
November is National Novel Writing Month so I've been writing a novel in my spare time. Next month I will be back to regular scripting.
